Ten small habits from our care team that cut wash day in half — and keep clothes looking new for longer.
Laundry day does not have to eat your weekend. After ten years of running a professional laundry, we have learned that small habits beat big efforts every time.
Start by sorting as you go: a divided hamper means colours, whites and delicates are already separated when wash day arrives. Wash in cold water whenever the label allows it — it protects fabrics, prevents shrinking and cuts energy use.
Never overload the machine. Clothes need room to tumble, otherwise detergent cannot rinse out and drying takes twice as long. And fold straight from the dryer: five minutes now saves an hour of ironing later.
Finally, schedule one fixed laundry day per week instead of running half-loads every evening. Fewer cycles, lower bills, and a weekend that stays yours.
